Littlest Girl Quilt

My sweet friends with the baby shower coming up found out their little babe is a girl, and I started to get wiggy about the quilt I’d made. It seemed gender neutral before, but all of a sudden seemed to look boyish. So I “whipped up” another one… I tweaked my original design and only used 7 different fabrics, made each square bigger, and used fewer squares. I also decided to try yarn ties instead of the zig-zag top stitching. Hope she likes it!!

My dear friends are anxiously awaiting a precious little one’s arrival this Christmas. I am attending their baby shower really soon and wanted to make something extra special. Since Mama wouldn’t know the baby’s gender until a few days before the celebration, I went ahead and chose more neutral fabric designs and colors. The quilt measures approximately 28″ x 36″, filled with cotton batting, and backed with the yummiest flannel…

Headbands for Ellie

One of my friends wanted me to make some headbands for her 2 year old daughter. I had tons of fabrics for her to choose from, and she couldn’t narrow it down any further than 14 favorites. We decided on 7 reversible headbands so she wouldn’t have to keep track of quite so many! Here are a couple of shots of the finished products…
